We have been very busy renovating and repairing our new church home at 12515 Ann Lane in Houston, Texas. Previously Mills Road Baptist Church, the convenient location is just south of FM 1960 and FM 249. It has been completely remodeled and refreshed, with just a few finishing touches required.
Christy Arendale, a member of our congregation and interior designer, has graciously lavished her energies selecting flooring, paint colors, lighting, pew upholstery, and even staining the beautiful wood doors. Abbey and Joe Touchette have also been heavily instrumental in the remodeling and cleaning process, as have our deacons and many other dear brothers and sisters in Christ from across the US.
In fact, this past week, a group of teenagers from Chicago traveled to Houston to assist in Hurricane Harvey disaster recovery relief. They pitched in at our new location by cleaning, painting, and assisting our members in accomplishing a massive to-do list.
We anticipate being able to move into our new facility this month! A gracious anonymous donor has provided us with a beautiful grand piano for the sanctuary and our pews are now installed. By God’s grace, we will be able to accomplish the last remaining work and acquire the appropriate city permits in a timely fashion.
If you would like to volunteer to help make ready our new church home, please contact Carl Miller or Drew Barnes.
Thank you for your continued prayers!
