Dr. Bart Ehrman is a professor at UNC-Chapel Hill who has made a habit of challenging and seeking to destroy the Christian faith of his incoming students. He is a prolific writer and seems to produce books at breakneck speed. His reconstruction of early Christianity, however, is deeply flawed. As the Apostle Paul has commanded the church to “test all things,” it is good to be aware of Ehrman’s writings and to know how to respond.
